As promised, Bandai Namco Entertainment has released Tekken 8 update 1.001.004 on all platforms during the game’s server maintenance. Aside from bug fixes, this also brings balance adjustments, ghost data tweaks and more. Read on for the complete Tekken 8 update 1.01.04 changes in the patch notes.

Update: Official patch notes are now available!
This patch will have an impact on the following modes & features due to gameplay adjustments for some characters.
The application of the update data will impact the following modes and features due to the changes brought to characters:
- DOWNLOADED REPLAYS & MY REPLAY & TIPS
Replay data from before the update will be unavailable for playback.
- ONLINE REPLAY
Replay data from before the update will be deleted.
- SUPER GHOST BATTLE & GHOST MATCH
Ghost data from previous versions remain available, but character behavior and moves will be updated with the balance changes brought by the patch.
Patch 1.01.04 brings the following changes:
- Balance adjustments Moves behaviour & properties for some characters have been adjusted. See the detailed list of changes in the image below.
- Other game-related bug fixes.

The update will impact all battle replays.
Make sure to record your favorite replays before the update drops – they will be unavailable after the patch
Patch 1.01.04 will also impact the Ghost data of Super Ghost Battles and Ghost Matches.
Ghost data from previous versions remain available, but character behaviour and moves will be updated with the balance changes brought by the patch
Once the proper patch notes are out, we’ll update the article with the info. Don’t expect a major character adjustment pass just yet, as that would be pushed out at a later date once players have had enough time with the fighters and the meta takes shape.
